About Us

Wonderland Studios

Wonderland Studios is a private recording facility located very near Austin, Texas. We've recently relocated to Buda, TX (suburb just south of Austin). Since 1999, we've offered analog and digital recording services, mixing, mastering, great rates and a cool comfortable relaxed vibe. Our team includes experienced audio engineers/producers as well as multi-instrumentalists available for your project. We've worked with artists from charting and national touring acts to bands and singer-songwriters just starting out. We've also worked on many voice-over projects and composed music for various types of jobs (film/tv, audio-books, educational, radio jingles). We love working on any audio-related project.

We can offer our experience and guidance along the recording/production path and throughout the whole process of recording, mixing and mastering your songs/audio. We will even provide some ideas you might want to consider for promoting your final product.

The studio is centered around a TOFT ATB 24 Analog Console (bringing to projects the incredible sound and features of the venerable Trident Series 80 board), Universal Audio's Apollo high-resolution interface (high-resolution music production audio interface with classic analog sound), Pro Tools (the industry-standard music and audio production software), an extensive mic collection, a hand picked collection of incredible plug-ins, great eq's and pre-amps (API, NEVE, Focusrite, Aphex, various Tube pre's), and other popular outboard gear options for projects (DBX, Yamaha, Alesis, Rane, Line6, Eleven Rack etc.). Other features of the studio include the availability of vintage instruments, vintage amps, and even several studio musicians that are available for projects. In addition, we also offer guitar lessons and audio engineering and production lessons. We provide affordable professional mixing and mastering services for artists from all over the world (via online services). In recent years, we've also provided music video services and artist development services.

With hundreds of projects under our belt, we're experienced at helping every step of the way. Basically, it boils down to good communication and feeling comfortable with the person who is helping put your heart and soul on tape (or CD these days). Ultimately, we think it's the job of the Engineer/Producer to recognize and help bring out the best qualities of the performer. We consider it a privilege to be involved with the creative expression of others.

We offer pro quality recordings and experienced engineers and producers. We're musicians and understand limited budgets. Our clients have included all styles of music. We believe in doing great projects that help Bands/Artists get to that next level of artistic growth. From experience, we've seen that every musician is unique and each brings various levels of raw talent and have different sets of needs in the studio.

Co-Produced by Eric McKinney and Mark McKinney, this album gained a lot of momentum and immediate attention as the first lead-off single titled She Ain't Leavin (duet featuring Bri Bagwell) hit number 1 on the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report.
